DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO

Procure less complicated direct and/or indirect materials (which may include maintenance and office supplies, resistors, capacitors, hardware, etc.).
* Procure re-lease products where price and terms are predetermined. · *Work to identify opportunities for cost reductions in support of annual cost reduction objectives.
* Deal with any purchase order/invoice issues, following them through to resolution ·
*Carry out general administrative responsibilities within the department
*Ensure that the supplier performance index governing quality and delivery ratings are considered before deciding to procure material from a particular vendor. ·
* Ensure that all procurements are based on negotiated competitive bids as submitted by qualified suppliers and in alignment with should cost targets (where available).
* Maintains positive working relationship with supplier base and participates in the regularly scheduled business reviews with suppliers. *Continue to analyze and assess the adequacy of our supplier base for each category and to develop additional sources of supply where deemed advantageous. ·
* Some travel may be required with this role.
* Where applicable, please refer to the Company's "Schedule of Authority" in order to identify approved spending levels.

REQUISITOS

Candidate ideally should have or is actively securing a certification in the procurement area (like C.P.M. or CPIM). ·
*High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Knowledge of product line under area of procurement. · IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office ·
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate with all levels of seniority Highly motivated and willing to progress career within the procurement discipline ·
* ERP Experience (SAP preferred)
